NOTICE OF VACANCY

EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

Bridlington North Ward

1. A vacancy has arisen in the Bridlington North Ward of East Riding of Yorkshire Council due to the death of Councillor Chad Chadwick.

2. A by-election to fill this vacancy will take place if two written requests are received from local government electors in the local authority area. The requests need to be submitted to the Proper Officer at the address below. The requests may be by means of individual written requests or a petition signed by two local government electors in the local authority area and submitted to the Proper Officer at the address below.

3. The requests may be submitted by post or e-mail. If submitting by e-mail, please send to electoral.services@eastriding.gov.uk and mark your e-mail for the attention of the Proper Officer.

4. Any written requests calling for an election to fill the vacancy will be available for public inspection and copying under Section 228(5) of the Local Government Act 1972.
